Turn Your Universe

Turn Your Universe reflectă sensul dat de varianta universe allowed / univers permis.
Instalația nu se rezumă la o unică reprezentare vizuală propusă de autor,
așa cum se vede cerul înstelat, noaptea. Conceptul în sine al lucrării este o
taină. Cele 40 de sfere (stele) galbene pot fi poziționate manual pe întreaga
suprafață a tablei de zinc (cerul) în corelații aleatorii între ele, acțiunea
ludică a publicului permițând crearea unor rețele infinite de „constelații”
care, prin obținerea de forme noi și trasee aparent geometrice, interpătrunse
între ele, au drept rezultat o infinitate de imagini vizuale, de universuri
permise. În acest context, sfera albastru-verzui, a 41-a, poate fi înțeleasă ca reper de contemplare celestă al omului... Turn Your Universe sau Întoarce-ți universul (cu sens de rotire, de transformare, de turnură
neașteptată), este misiunea fiecărui individ de a-și căuta destinul propriu
perfect integrat universului, sau, după cum spunea Anatole France, „Dacă am cunoaște toate tainele Universului,
am cădea îndată într-un plictis enorm”.

Turn Your Universe reflects the meaning given by the
variant universe allowed.
The installation is not only one visual
representation proposed by the author, as a starry night sky. The concept of
this work is a mystery in itself. The 40 yellow spheres (stars) can be placed
manually on the entire surface of the zinc sheet (the sky) in random
correlations; so that the audience’s ludic action can create infinite networks
of “constellations”. These new shapes and apparently geometrical courses are
intertwined, resulting an infinity of visual images, of allowed universes. In
this context, the blue-green sphere, the 41st, can be understood as a landmark
of the celestial contemplation of man ... Turn
Your Universe (in the sense of rotation, transformation and unexpected turn
of events) is each individual’s mission to search for their own destiny that is
perfectly integrated into the universe, or, as Anatole France said, if we knew all the mysteries of the
Universe, we would immediately fall into deep boredom.
